Air Traffic Management

Air traffic management (ATM) has always been Integra's core business area. Since the company was established more than 20 years ago, Integra has participated in some of the most important ATM projects in Europe, and in the past 10 years we have expanded our services within this area to other parts of the world.

Examples of our activities are:

1. More than 13 years of support to the renewal of the air traffic management system in Sweden (System 2000). Integra’s work spread across various disciplines from project management via system engineering and software development to technical and managerial support related to verification and validation, RAM, safety, communication, etc. as well as organisational support.
2. Participation in large FAB implementation projects such as CEATS, NUAC, SEE-FABA and Danube FAB.
3. Initial studies for the European Commission concerning SES I regulations and participation in the SES implementation project ISIS as well as SES I Impact Assessment for the PRU.
4. Several modernisation projects involving Master Planning of air traffic management and airports. 
5. Numerous safety assessments for EUROCONTROL programmes such as RVSM, 8.33 kHz, CFMU etc. and for air navigation service providers for various operational procedures, technical systems etc.
6. Support to more than 15 air navigation service providers in the world in the development of safety management systems.
7. Our experience within safety resulted in a task for ICAO to develop guidance material to be used by ATS providers and Aerodrome Operators in the process of implementing safety management systems. Consequently, we were invited as speakers at ICAO conferences in many parts of the world to inform about safety management.
